Josef Fritzl, some 73-year old Austrian man built a wee dungeon beneath his house and trapped his then 18-year old daughter inside for 24 YEARS!!! during which he repeatedly raped her and she gave birth (natural birth with no painkillers) to 7 (SEVENNN!!!!) children (one died).

Yknow if he was let out onto the streets, I don't think he'd survive the public bashing... And the police would probably close an eye.. YAY!
