As in, got Edin onot???! It's Edin-BRR-E rhyming with cateRER, ppl! I'm sick of hearing this word mispronounced! Anyway, went to Edinbrugh on Wednesday 22nd. It's a beautiful city with lots of ancient looking buildings like thisand this
and this one
and a whole row of it from the North Bridge
So anyway, the Fringe Festival was going onA section of the Royal Mile was portioned off for this festival. The Royal Mile is a street connecting the Edinbrugh Palace to the Edinbrugh Castle. Ee Yan says, back in the day, the king could be hiding in either place so if enemies attack the Castle, the king could actually be hiding at the Palace! So anyway, the Festival is basically street performers performing acts on the street and other performers who don't wanna perform on the street hand out flyers to passers-by asking them to come see their performance tonight at so and so place but I think you have to pay to see those. We just enjoyed the free acts on the street which were pretty darn good I LOVED IT so much I kept plunking two pounds into their bags at the end of their show! Nolah, actually, felt a bit kesian especially when they pulled the kesian card and say 'Oh this is our main job! Pls give so we can go have a beer at the pub later!' Give onli laaa.
So anyway, they had comedian magicians, human statues
and there was this group with two men acting out a tennis match but instead of tennis racquets and a tennis ball, they juggled bowling pins within themselves. I can't get YouTube to upload the video I took of it tho. Me noob, hur hur. The best act was the English Gentlemen which were these two Englishmen dressed up very gentlemanly in suit, tie, hat complete with porcelain teacups and dainty umbrellas doing a comedic acrobatic act.
The one with his head being stood upon is very handsome and looks like the doctor from Scrubs, the one who calls the intern 'nooby' and girl names too. In the end, they took their clothes off (Rupert's pants came off first and the more conservative Scrubs guy chased him around trying to put them back on etc) and did a few more difficult stunts

ELMO!
Walked up to the castle but didn't go in. See the long line of tourists about to pay 10pounds to walk around aimlessly in a castle.
Ate lunch on Calton Hill

Camwhore for like an hour
Them doing the Amir
Superhero silhouettes
Ate dinner sampai kenyang nak muntah at the Mussel Inn

Quirky advertisement for an Andy Warhol art exhibition.

Came home happy and then made bread the next day
