Online stores

I'm sure that in the future (or even now), some of us might be interested in making money online by setting up an online business or an online store or even starting an affiliate program with the big businesses like Amazon.com. We could do things like these on the side to generate an extra income in addition to pursuing our careers.

So anyway, part of setting up an online store, you need to manage your payments as well as your stock and it might be advisable to get a reliable shopping cart software because it makes it easier to display your goods and it deals with payment for you. You can Google up ecommerce software to compare prices, features and customer service of different types of software so that you can narrow down your choices and pick one that is most suitable for you and your business.

This all seems very daunting to me. I would probably start off by selling my old books on the Amazon.co.uk marketplace and see how that goes. But first, I have to find out how to go about delivering the books by post and whether I would actually make a profit after I minus out the postage costs.
