I'd rant and get emo on how either Argentina or Germany (two teams I support) are bound to get knocked out early in the tournament (Quarterfinals) but I don't feel like getting into that right now. *breathe breathe

If they were smart and really thought it through, they'd lose to Holland tonight then they wouldn't have to meet Germany so early in the tournament. They'd meet England tho. But that's an easier pick for me (Argentina FTW) and I wouldn't feel so torn against who to support. I'll get torn tho. I'll have a bitch fit after the match. Haha.

Portugal's lead players Ronaldo and Deco didn't play today. As a team, Portugal didn't give much effort. It seemed as if they didn't care whether they would win or lose and also as if they were looking down on the Mexicans. That really disappointed me. From watching the match, you could tell the Mexicans were playing with more effort than the Portugese. One could go so far as to say Mexico might have deserved a win.

Too bad they didn't shoot accurately. Oh well, still they're through to the round of 16.

Will try to slip in some shut eye now before the Arg vs Holland match at 3am later. =P
