My dinner.

Here I was thinking I was the bomb, cooking up a storm of a sandwich even though you don't really cook sandwiches but you make them. So anyway I thought I'd tell my friend Bernard a little bit about it.

Tonight's dinner was threatening to be plain old tuna + mayo + fresh bread until I decided to save it by zapping it up with some chicken mushroom sausages and boiled onions, generously sprinkled with coarse black pepper and layered with a slice of cheese. Damn good, no? God must be smiling at me now.

Then Bernard said he makes the same thing. Yes. Even with the black pepper. And onions. Oh, minus the sausages tho. He didn't put those in.

And I thought I was special. Grr!

I dunno why. I take pride when I make something nice to eat. Cooking is just so... satisfying! Especially when it tastes good!! And even when it doesn't, oh well, you tried, you gave it your best, you're not some professional anyway, you're free to make all the mistakes you want! When it doesn't turn out good, it's not your fault that you're a beginner!!

But heck, when it turns out bloody good, you just wanna BRAG!! In the previous scenario, I guess it backfired. LOL!! OWNED!! I'll know better next time. Just like how I've found out that garlic tastes so good in soupy dishes!! And soups itself!!
